Updated 9-23-05

We have received new information regarding the number of cachets M W Beck produced for cover #220, USS Lowry.  Since the 1995 publication of Les Winick's Beck Handbook, everyone thought that Beck produced only six covers for the cover number 220.

We now have more information.  The documented log written in Morris Beck's handwriting  states that a total of 65 #220 covers were made.  We know the Cover Log shown below is authentic because of a signed letter from M W Beck dated February 14, 1974 when Beck sent the Cover Log to Ron Reeves, a long-time friend.

The two "thumbnails" below show the pages from Winick's 1995 Beck Handbook
and the hand written Cover Log kept by Morris Beck.
